Zachery Hazard is a Catholic educator, author, and 4th-Degree Knight of Columbus from Orange County. He has spent more than a decade serving students and families in public education, where his work in Special Education and his Master’s in Educational Administration shaped his approach to formation, storytelling, and leadership. His upcoming book, Hazardous Travels, blends memoir and spiritual reflection to help people recognize God’s steady presence in their own lives. Zach speaks at parishes, schools, retreats, and ministry events, offering messages that are rooted in lived experience and grounded in Catholic faith.
Why My Approach Works
My approach works because it brings together story, formation, and lived experience in a way that feels real, personal, and accessible to ordinary people. I speak as an educator, husband, father, and Catholic who has wrestled with fear, loss, vocation, purpose, and God’s quiet presence in both joyful and difficult seasons, offering testimony rather than abstract theory so listeners can recognize God in their own routines, family life, and the challenges they face.
Communities today do not simply need more information; they need accompaniment, and my talks weave narrative with reflection so audiences feel both comforted and challenged, leaving with renewed hope, clarity, and purpose.
